Formerly on Desperate Housewives Season 8 Episode 16, “You Take for Granted” Susan convinces Mike to visit to the police when the lady discovers that Bens loanshark is going to get him; Gaby is justifiably troubled when Carlos exhibits several strange behavior on his first day returning to work; Toms girlfriend, Jane, drops a bombshell with Lynette during Pennys house party; and Mrs. McCluskey, who is suffering coming from terminal cancer, asks Bree to help end her life.

Enter newcomer Betty Applewhite along with her handsome teenage daughter, Matthew, who mysteriously moved into a house theyd never seen in the center of the night.
Then there are the men: Mike Delfino, a supposedly widowed plumber who may have won Susans heart; Lynettes adorable husband, Tom, who volunteered to always be “Mr. Mom” so his wife can get back on work; Gabrielles better half, Carlos, who is currently throughout jail and recently figured out of his wifes infidelities together with John, the gardener; and Mary Alices widowed partner, Paul, who is on the run through the demons in his past.
