First Lady Jeanette Hampton
of Liberty in Christ Fellowship Outreach Ministries
The Hamptons are founders of Liberty in Christ Fellowship Outreach Ministries in Greensboro, North Carolina. They have been married for 40 years and have two daughters, Stacy and Amanda, one son Curtis and one grandchild Jeremiah who are all a testimony to Psalms 112 "Seeds of the righteous, mighty upon the earth." Their daughters, Stacey and Amanda are founders of a teen mentoring ministry called, "Skin Deep Soul".
The Hamptons were born again and committed their lives to Christian service in March 1978 when they moved to Greensboro and became members of Wells Memorial Church of God in Christ. The Hamptons later joined the Nu-Life COGIC Ministries and served faithfully as ministers for 15 years. They submitted together to the call upon their lives to help families build strong relationships based on biblical principles as they began their outreach ministry. Their
ministry focus was and continues to be "tearing down walls that separate and divide" through marriage and family counseling, mentoring teens and children suffering from severe emotional problems. Liberty In Christ Fellowship was born out of their desire to see boys, girls, men and women liberated from the bondage and darkness of sin into the marvelous light of freedom in Christ.
(Galatians 5:1, Romans 8:1, Isaiah 61:1)
In the community of Greensboro and Guilford County, the Hamptons volunteered for many years at the Greensboro Pregnancy Center as counselors, church liaisons, advisers, child advocates, and Jeannette on the Board of Directors. They also worked to get pro-life and pro-family legislation passed by speaking to church and community groups as well as to politicians about abstinence based sex education programs in the schools and alternatives to abortion. The Hampton's have provided foster care parenting to help bridge the gap between parents and children in addition to Jeannette working as a House Mother for a local Maternity Home.
The Hamptons are committed to helping empower families to build strong communities in order to change the culture to impact our world for the next generation. It is our desire to be an aid to local churches and community organizations in strengthening marriages and families through seminars, conferences, workshops, counseling, and mentoring.
